Classic form of the distinctive warrior's torque worn by warriors in Naga society. Created by the lost wax technique in brass, featuring three head shaped protrusions and four spiral discs. These ornaments were awarded to Naga men who returned from the war with heads of the enemy and were an indication of head-taking status for men.
Condition: This antique neckpiece has a nice old patina and the surface have been softened by age and handling.
