Spoon and fork, Ifugao, Luzon, Philippines.

Finely carved oval wooden spoon and fork with four teeth, both handles in shape of elegant standing bulul-like figures. The figure on the fork is very exceptional showing a child on her back. Date: First quarter of the 20th century.

Light brown wood, slightly shiny patina, min. dam, the spoon has been broken in the past but is perfectly bonded.

H: 13,5 cm / 16,5 cm, 5.3 inch / 6.5 inch.
