Small knife / piso raout, Dayak, Borneo, Indonesia.

This beautiful old piso raout, mandau side knife, was used for woodcarving and rattan cutting by the Dayak tribes from Kalimantan, Borneo Island. It is carved from a piece of hardwood and finished with a deer-bone top showing fine ASO dragon motifs.

Condition: shiny patina, wear and use, hair cracks, oxidation……

It measures 45,4 cm - 17.87 inches long.
