Gudza dolls, Turkana, Kenya.

Two small standing fertility dolls in clay, named Gudza, from the Turkana people. Dressed with an apron, heads without recognizable facial feature, crowned by elaborate coiffures, reddish brown and white pigments, blackened in parts, min. dam., fissures, slight traces of abrasion, presented on a custom perspex base.

Height 12,2 and 11,7 cm - 4.8 and 4.6 inch.
