The Shilluk are part of the East Sudanic Group, which includes neighbouring tribes such as the Dinka people.

This is a rare crocodile leather shield of almost circular form, conical-shaped vaulted in the centre, handle on the rear, the inner handle is bound with leather.

Material: thick crocodile skin.

Condition: good; stains, scratches, holes, old and used patina.

H: 40 cm - 15.7 inch.W: 47 cm - 18.5 inch.
